Fall 2013 Trending


Fall, also known as Autumn, is one of the four temperate seasons that begins September 22nd and ends December 19th. Every fall season, the fashion trending varies. Fall 2013 trending colors consist of pink, black, purple, emerald, red, pastel colors, yellow and grey. 

Trends for this fall season that are must have pieces to include to your wardrobe are leather pieces, graphic tops and sweatshirts, skirts, tomboy style and tartan style. 

Leather 
Owning at least one piece of leather clothing is necessary to have in a wardrobe, whether its a top with leather implemented, a leather blazer or any kind of leather bottoms that complete the figure. When wearing a leather piece it gives an edgy and stylish look, which is always great to rock during the fall season. Just one piece or two of leather clothing could be paired in many ways, but too much leather is not good, balance it out. Pairing perhaps leather pants with strappy leather or print shoes, a nice top or sweater with or without leather implemented, blazer is an edgy statement. 

Graphic Tops and Sweaters
Believe it or not, graphic tops and sweaters are statement pieces and a hot fashion trend. Graphic tops that have wording implemented to images could upgrade the look of an outfit as well as sweaters with embellishments.  Suggested ideas on how to incorporate a graphic top or sweater in an outfit, try pairing  it with a midi skirt, high waisted pants or leather pants, jeans whether coated or not. 

Skirts
Whether its from mini skirts to midi skirts to origami skirts to even a classic pencils, they are all a fashion trend this fall season, so come out, come o
ut wherever you are! Skirts could be paired with leggings or stylish stockings and mid boots or classic pumps or knee high boots, peep toe or strappy pumps. 

Tomboy style 
Baggy jumpers, overalls, sweatpants, and boyfriend jeans are all considered tomboy style. 

Tartan Style





If you attended private school and had to wear uniform when you were younger, you wore tartan style print. Anything plaid or argyle is considered tartan style. Just one tartan style piece paired with an outfit could say a lot about a look and give a polished perspective. 

Remember not everything has to be all designer, you could always mix and match and end with an expensive, yet tasteful look!

Skin That Glows During Winter

Protecting your skin with the proper products during the months in winter could promote a glowing appearance and aid in preventing skin peeling as well as skin cracking.
There are helpful skincare tips that should be practiced as a daily ritual to keep skin hydrated during the winter months.

1. Hydrating cleanser will assist maintaing the water content in skin and balancing the hydrating levels.
2. Moisturizing is the central most important steps to do as a daily routine during the winter months. When applying moisturizer, its purpose is to protect skin from becoming brittle in cold weather. The heavier the moisturizer in cold climates the better it will aid with preventing progression of skin damage  by the dry weather.
3. Sunscreen is another important application that helps against sun and light damage. Not only should sunscreen be used during spring and summer months, but in winter months as well. Recommend sunscreen should be with at least SPF15 or more to maintain a healthy and hydrated skin level. 
4. Exfoliating should be done twice a week to remove any dead skin residue.
5. Hot baths are not recommended to take during winter months, although hot baths are soothing during these months. Hot baths are claimed to remove skin of all its natural oils and make skin dry. Instead, it is recommend to take luke-warm showers to preserve the skin.
